Community Support Worker 1

ASCC is hiring for CSW 1 positions

  • The schedules for this position can vary, but typically are from Monday-Friday anytime between 6:30am to 11pm and Saturday-Sunday anytime between 7am-11pm. Please state which schedule would be the most suitable when applying (i.e., weekends, mornings, afternoons, evenings).  Flexibility with schedule is an asset.
  • The minimum requirements for this position are: 6 months to 1 year of experience  in a related Human Services field, and/or a college/university  degree related to Disability Studies. First Aid/CPR certification, Medication Administration training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and other relevant training is required and must be obtained within 60 days of beginning employment. All successful applicants are required to provide a Criminal Record Check, and Child and Youth Intervention Module Check.
  • This position is for programs that support children, youth and adults with disabilities.
Community Support Worker 2

ASCC is hiring for CSW 2 positions

  • The schedules for this position can vary, but typically are from Monday-Friday anytime between 6:30am to 11pm and Saturday-Sunday anytime  between 7am-11pm. Please state which schedule would be the most suitable when applying (i.e., weekends, mornings, afternoons, evenings).
  • Applicant will need to have flexibility with start and end times by up to 2 hours – average of 24 – 40 hours per week
  • Applicant will have experience with many aspects of individuals with disabilities and behavioural concerns.
  • The minimum requirements for this position are: 2 years of experience  in a related Human Services field, and/or 1 year of experience and a  college/university degree related to Disability Studies. First Aid/CPR certification, Medication Administration training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and other relevant training is required and must be obtained within 60 days of beginning employment. All successful applicants are required to provide a Criminal Record Check, and Child and Youth Intervention Module Check.

Sleep Night Worker
ASCC is hiring for Sleep Night positions
  • The schedules for this position can vary, but typically are from Sunday-Thursday anytime between 7pm to 9am and Friday-Saturday anytime between 7pm-9am.
  • The minimum requirements for this position are: 2 years of experience  in a related Human Services field, and/or 1 year of experience and a  college/university degree related to disability studies. First Aid/CPR certification, Medication Administration training, Non-Violent Crisis  Intervention training and other relevant training. All successful applicants are required to provide a Criminal Record Check, and Child and Youth  Intervention Module Check.
